Since our earliest work to preserve the High Line and transform it into a public place, family foundations, large grant-making institutions, and government agencies have been critical partners in our mission.
Today, as the organization responsible for all park operations and programming, we rely on dedicated funding from foundation and government partners to support our most important initiatives, including:
The park contains more than 100,000 plantings, and our gardeners use ecologically-sensitive methods to ensure the optimal health and beauty of every plant
Museum-quality contemporary art enlivens the park—creating a dynamic and rich experience for all visitors
The High Line is a rich educational resource, and through field trips, and educational enrichment programs, we engage thousands of NYC public school students each year
Through hundreds of free public programs and activities every year, we inspire visitors and neighborhood residents of all ages, backgrounds, and interests
