OUT OF LINE: "Open Encounter," by Brendan Fernandes

Date & Time
  • Thursday, August 16, 2018 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm
  • Location

On the High Line at 14th St.

Ballet and modern dance clash in this performance that brings Fernandes' signature dance based practice of using movement as a metaphor for social change to the High Line. Dueling dancers will expose hierarchies in dance, power, bodies and culture with their distinct forms of movement.

Now in its third year, Out of Line presents a new set of arresting, intriguing, and playful performances by some of New York City's most exciting contemporary artists.
